# Forgiving Golf > forgiving.golf compares golf clubs built to forgive a miss: irons, drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, putters and complete sets. 91 clubs from 17 makers, 90 with a dated price (the maker's own, or a retailer's new price where the maker publishes none). 32 iron sets, 12 drivers, 7 fairway woods, 6 hybrids, 9 putters, 25 complete sets. Every figure is read from the maker's own product page and carries its URL and the date it was read. Tables sort by price; shop links are plain links and never change the order. > Data status: ok. ## Trust and documentation - Methodology: https://forgiving.golf/methodology - Data and licensing: https://forgiving.golf/data - About: https://forgiving.golf/about ## Data access - Versioned JSON: https://forgiving.golf/api/v1/latest.json - Current-major alias: https://forgiving.golf/api/latest.json - Health: https://forgiving.golf/api/v1/health.json - CSV: https://forgiving.golf/forgiving-golf-clubs.csv - OpenAPI: https://forgiving.golf/openapi.json ## Where the answers are Most forgiving irons, with a filterable table and a shortlist per handicap band: https://forgiving.golf/most-forgiving-irons Best golf clubs for beginners: https://forgiving.golf/best-golf-clubs-for-beginners Beginner golf club sets (complete boxed sets): https://forgiving.golf/beginner-golf-club-sets Best golf clubs for beginners to intermediate: https://forgiving.golf/best-golf-clubs-for-beginners-to-intermediate Senior golf clubs and senior flex: https://forgiving.golf/senior-golf-clubs Women's golf clubs for beginners: https://forgiving.golf/womens-golf-clubs-for-beginners Most forgiving Callaway irons: https://forgiving.golf/most-forgiving-callaway-irons Most forgiving driver: https://forgiving.golf/most-forgiving-driver Most forgiving hybrids: https://forgiving.golf/most-forgiving-hybrids Most forgiving fairway woods: https://forgiving.golf/most-forgiving-fairway-woods Forgiving putters (mallets and zero-torque): https://forgiving.golf/forgiving-putters Guide, what makes an iron forgiving: https://forgiving.golf/guides/what-makes-an-iron-forgiving Guide, senior flex vs regular flex: https://forgiving.golf/guides/senior-flex-vs-regular-flex Side-by-side compare tool: https://forgiving.golf/compare ## How to read the numbers Offset, sole width and face technology are the maker's own descriptions; MOI is listed only where the maker publishes a figure. A flex list containing A means a senior (lite) shaft is stock; L means a ladies flex is stock. Prices are the maker's list price and the price shown on the maker's page on the read date; a missing price renders as not published, never as an estimate. price_unit says what the maker's figure covers. Titleist, Srixon, XXIO and PXG price irons per club; for those sets set_price_usd is 7 times the per-club price (the seven-club set the other makers quote), and that is the figure the tables sort on. Newest price read: 2026-09-06; oldest: 2026-09-06. ## Limits No club on this site was hit, tested or measured by us. Every fact is aggregated from published specification pages, and the page says so. Inclusion and order never depend on whether a shop pays a commission. See https://forgiving.golf/affiliate-disclosure and https://forgiving.golf/methodology.
