Choose the Ai Smoke MAX for the newer face, new.
Paradym $399.98 · Paradym Ai Smoke MAX $399.99, each with its shop and checked date
The Ai Smoke MAX followed the Paradym as Callaway's adjustable 460cc driver. Both come in 9°, 10.5° and 12° in either hand at 45.75 inches, with a sliding weight around the back and an adjustable hosel, and both score 3 of 5 here: Callaway profiled each for distance and adjustability and kept the most forgiving head of its year for another model. The Ai Smoke MAX swaps the Paradym's forged titanium face cup for the Ai Smart Face, which Callaway shaped from real golfers' swings, puts a lighter carbon chassis around it and sits a degree more upright (a 58° lie against 57°). Callaway still sells the Ai Smoke MAX new; the Paradym is sold out at Callaway.
Callaway's 2023 all-round driver, which it called its best combination of distance, forgiveness and adjustability: a carbon body and a 15-gram weight that slides along the back to correct the shot's shape, in 9°, 10.5° or 12°.

The Rogue ST MAX is the more forgiving: Callaway called it the highest-MOI head of its Rogue ST range, with up to 26 grams of tungsten low and deep and a slight draw bias, and it scores 4 of 5 here against the Paradym's 3.
Both are their maker's all-round driver of the same season, rated highest for forgiveness on their charts beside a more forgiving sibling (the Paradym X, the draw-biased Stealth 2 HD), so both score 3 of 5 here.
