PING G Le3 vs TaylorMade Kalea Gold women's driver
Choose the G Le3 if you play left-handed or want to adjust the loft.
Choose the Kalea Gold if you want the higher 13.5° loft for a slow swing.
G Le3 $497 · Kalea Gold $499.99, each with its shop and checked date
Two women's drivers with 460cc heads on ladies-flex shafts, and both score 3 of 5. PING built the G Le3 for swing speeds of 80 mph or less: a lightweight titanium head it calls high-MOI, with a fixed weight low and back toward the heel, in 11.5° with a hosel that moves the loft 1.5° either way, and in either hand. TaylorMade's Kalea Gold is an ultralight Carbonwood head in 11.5° or 13.5°, right-handed only, with no movable weight, and three-quarters of an inch shorter as standard (44 inches against 44.75). PING still lists the G Le3 beside the newer G Le4, whose moment of inertia it puts 15% higher.
