Choose the GT280 if you strike it well, hit it mostly off the fairway and want it for less, new or used.
Choose the GTS300 for more help on a mishit.
GT280 $399 · GTS300 $549, each with its shop and checked date
The GTS300 is the forgiving one: Titleist sells it on forgiveness, with a bigger head, 305cc against 280cc, and its weight set deeper, which Titleist puts at about 15 to 20% more inertia, the head's resistance to twisting on a mishit. It replaced the GT280 in July 2026. Both come in 13° only, left- or right-handed, at a 56° lie and a 43.5-inch standard length, with a forged face that wraps under the sole, the same face height for shots off the turf, and weight that moves front to back.
Titleist's 2025 mini driver, sold as a 2-wood: a 280cc head with a flatter sole for tight lies, in 13° only. Titleist pitched it on distance and control, not forgiveness.
Titleist's mini driver, which it now sells on forgiveness: a 305cc head with its weight set deeper than the GT280's, and a forged face that wraps under the sole to keep low strikes going. 13° only, left- or right-handed.
Fits golfers who miss the driver off the tee and find a 3-wood hard to launch.
One loft only, 13°, and no flex Titleist calls senior: a slower swing launches a high-lofted fairway wood or a forgiving driver in senior flex more easily.

The R7 Quad is the more forgiving of the two: a bigger head, 305cc against 280cc, with a weight setting TaylorMade gives for more forgiveness and another for a slight draw.
