Choose it if
- You miss the driver off the tee and want a bigger head than a 3-wood.
- You play left-handed: it is sold left-handed.
Choose something else if
- One loft only, 13°, and no flex Titleist calls senior: a slower swing launches a high-lofted fairway wood or a forgiving driver in senior flex more easily.

Head to head: Titleist GT280 vs GTS300 mini driver
What changed from the GT280
Titleist replaced the GT280 with the GTS300 in July 2026. Both come in 13° only, left- or right-handed, with a 56° lie, a 43.5-inch standard length, a forged face that wraps under the sole and two weight positions, and both have the same face height for shots off the turf. The GTS300's head is bigger, 305cc against 280cc, with its weight set deeper: Titleist puts the gain at about 15 to 20% more inertia, the head's resistance to twisting on a mishit, and sells the GTS300 on forgiveness where it sold the GT280 on its player-preferred shape.
The GT280 still sells new for less than the GTS300, and used for less again; the table has both prices. It suits a good striker who hits it mostly off the fairway. Choose the GTS300 for the bigger, more forgiving head.

How the 3.0 adds up
The forgiveness score is our reading of what Titleist publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
| Part | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Head | 3 | A game improvement mini driver head, not the most forgiving kind Titleist makes. |
| Forgiveness score | 3.0 | of 5 |
Draw help, lofts, flex and hand don't change the score. They decide which version fits you, and the picks for a slice or a slow swing use them.
