TaylorMade Qi10 Rescue hybrid
Game improvement, 3.0 of 5 for forgiveness
TaylorMade's all-round hybrid of 2024, sold as an easy-to-hit replacement for long irons: the weight set low behind a deep face for an easy launch, one lie per loft and no loft sleeve, from a 19° 3 hybrid to a 31° 7 hybrid. TaylorMade no longer sells the Qi10 Rescue new; the Qi35 Rescue replaced it, and the Qi4D Rescue replaced the Qi35 Rescue.

Choose it if
- You want a hybrid in place of your long irons, with some help on mishits, short of TaylorMade's most forgiving head.
- You play left-handed: it was made left-handed in the 3, 4 and 5 hybrids (19°, 22° and 25°).
- You need a softer shaft: it came in a stock senior flex.

What changed in the Qi4D Rescue
The Qi4D Rescue, two generations on, keeps the Qi10 Rescue's 19° 3 hybrid, 22° 4 hybrid and 25° 5 hybrid at the same lengths, and adds a 17° 2 hybrid. It adds a 3° loft sleeve, so loft and lie can be changed where the Qi10 has one lie per loft, and an 8-gram weight that tunes the flight. The Qi10 Rescue also came as a 28° 6 hybrid and a 31° 7 hybrid: since the Qi35, TaylorMade's all-round hybrid stops at the 5 hybrid, and its 6 and 7 hybrids come only in the Max and Max Lite heads.
TaylorMade no longer sells the Qi10 Rescue, so it is bought used, for well under half the price of a new Qi4D; the Qi35 Rescue between them is still sold new, for less than the Qi4D. Choose a used Qi10 for the lowest price, or for a 6 or 7 hybrid in the all-round head; choose the Qi4D for the loft sleeve, the movable weight or a 2 hybrid.

How the 3.0 adds up
The forgiveness score is our reading of what TaylorMade publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
| Part | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Head | 3 | A game improvement hybrid head, not the most forgiving kind TaylorMade made. |
| Forgiveness score | 3.0 | of 5 |
Draw help, lofts, flex and hand don't change the score. They decide which version fits you, and the picks for a slice or a slow swing use them.
