Black Friday golf club deals
Ahead of Black Friday, 20 of the 148 current models we price already sell below their maker's list price. The deepest cut is the Cobra KING TEC iron set at $799 from Golf Discount, 38% under its $1,299 list price (checked 2 Nov). Every price here is one we read on the shop's own page, with the day we read it, so you can tell a real Black Friday price from a "was" figure.
Black Friday: Friday 27 November 2026. Cyber Monday: Monday 30 November 2026.

What to expect this year
Black Friday falls on 27 November 2026, the day after Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday on 30 November. What the golf shops' own Black Friday pages said when we last read them:
- PGA TOUR Superstore: its Black Friday club-deals page is up, with no dates and no deals on it yet (read 30 Oct).
- Callaway: its Black Friday page still carries last year's title, with a sign-up for this year's offers; the offers on it were $100 off Odyssey's Ai-DUAL and Tri-Hot putters and two dozen Chrome Soft balls for $100 (read 3 Nov).
- 2nd Swing: its Black Friday page still says last year's deals have concluded, with no date for this year's (read 3 Nov).
- Rock Bottom Golf: its Black Friday address opens its clearance and promotions page, with no Black Friday dates (read 30 Oct).
- Carl's Golfland: its pre-Black Friday address now opens its fall flash sale, with no Black Friday dates (read 3 Nov).
Some makers have already cut prices on their own stores, against their own list price:
- Cobra OPTM MAX-K driver: $399 at Cobra, down from its $599 list price, 33% off (checked 2 Nov).
- Cobra OPTM MAX-D driver: $399 at Cobra, down from its $599 list price, 33% off (checked 2 Nov).
- Cobra OPTM X driver: $399 at Cobra, down from its $599 list price, 33% off (checked 2 Nov).
- Cobra OPTM MAX fairway wood: $269 at Cobra, down from its $369 list price, 27% off (checked 2 Nov).
- Srixon ZXi MAX driver: $399.99 at Srixon, down from its $549.99 list price, 27% off (checked 2 Nov).
We read every club's price again each week. When a shop starts its Black Friday prices, they show in the tables below after our next read, each with the day we read it; the golf club deals page lists every club already below its list price.
Cyber Monday golf deals
Cyber Monday is 30 November, three days after Black Friday, and Cyber Week the days around it. This page covers all of them: a price in its tables is the one to beat on any of those days. 2nd Swing's Cyber Monday page said "Cyber Monday Coming Soon" when we read it on 3 Nov.
Last year's offers started before Black Friday, and some ran long after Cyber Monday. Golf Galaxy ran its Black Friday offers from Wednesday 26 November, two days before Black Friday, to Cyber Monday, 1 December 2025 (its own release of 13 November), with up to $120 off the latest TaylorMade and Callaway clubs, and Top Flite complete sets for $299.98. Carl's Golfland kept up to $120 off Callaway's Elyte clubs until 31 December, and up to $100 off TaylorMade's Qi35 clubs until 1 January (its holiday savings page of 1 December 2025). Last year's dates are no promise for this year's.
Hold a Cyber Monday price against the tables below: if it is not lower than the price we checked, it is not a Cyber Monday deal.
Before you buy: a checklist
- Hold the price against the ones on this page, not against the shop's "was" figure: a "was" price can be a list price nobody paid.
- Check what the price buys: the same set makeup, hand, shaft and flex. A cheaper set with one club fewer is not cheaper.
- Know your flex and loft before the sale, not at checkout: the shaft flex chart gives each maker's swing speeds, and a slower swing usually launches a 10.5° or higher driver more easily than a 9°.
- Left-handed? Check the hand on the shop's page, because many sale prices are for right-handed clubs only. The left-handed golf clubs page names the best of each type.
- Look at last year's model: makers clear old stock in late autumn, and the club that was their most forgiving a year ago is often far cheaper than its replacement. Those already on sale below their launch price are on our golf club deals page.
- Check the return window: a club bought in November may not be hit until spring, and a holiday sale can carry shorter returns.
- Used is often cheaper still: the used forgiving clubs guide sets each used price against new.

Black Friday iron deals
At our 2 Nov read, eight of the 18 current iron sets with a list price sold below it. The deepest cut is the Cobra KING TEC irons at $799 from Golf Discount, 38% under its $1,299 list price. Three earlier iron sets still sold new cost less than the current models.
The iron set to buy for each situation, at the price to beat:
- Most forgiving overall: PING G740 irons, $1,299.99 at PGA TOUR Superstore, 7 irons (5-9, PW, UW), checked 2 Nov. Earlier model: the PING G730 irons (2024), $1,189.99 at 2nd Swing Golf, 7 irons (5-PW, UW), checked 31 Oct.
- For a slice: Mizuno JPX925 Hot Metal HL irons, $962.50 at Mizuno, 7 irons, checked 2 Nov, 17% under its $1,155 list price.
- For heavy strikes: PXG Wildcat irons, $749.95 at PXG, 5 clubs (7-iron to sand wedge) at $149.99 each, checked 2 Nov, its list price.
- For more height: Srixon ZXiR HL irons, $1,099.98 at Srixon, 7 irons at $157.14 each, checked 2 Nov.
- Under $700: Tour Edge Hot Launch Max D Ironwoods, $599.99 at Tour Edge, 7 irons, checked 2 Nov.
- For women: PXG Women's Wildcat irons, $749.95 at PXG, 5 clubs (7-iron to sand wedge) at $149.99 each, checked 2 Nov, its list price.
Compare iron prices set for set. 4-PW is seven irons and 5-PW six, and some sets add a gap wedge (GW, AW or UW), so a cheaper set can simply hold one club fewer. Check the shaft and flex the price is for as well: a graphite or senior build can cost more than the one a shop leads with. Our most forgiving irons page ranks every set by the help it gives, with a finder for your miss, and the used irons page sets each used price against new.

A putter is sold by length (33, 34 and 35 inches are the usual choices), so check that a sale price is for the length you need. A mallet or zero-torque head resists twisting on a heel or toe strike. Our forgiving putters page compares every head, and the best putters for beginners starts from a first putter.

A boxed set's price buys what is in the box, so read the contents before the price: how many clubs, whether hybrids take the place of the long irons, and whether a stand or cart bag comes with it. The beginner golf club sets page compares every box by what it holds, and senior golf clubs lists the senior boxes.

Black Friday golf ball deals
Hold a ball deal against the maker's own price for a dozen. When we read the makers' US stores on 30 Oct, the 11 balls their makers call two-piece cost $19.99 (the Vice Drive) to $24.99 a dozen; the 7 with a urethane cover cost $39.99 to $58, the Titleist Pro V1 $58. A deal that only matches those prices saves nothing.
Ball offers on the shops' own pages when we read them:
- Callaway: two dozen Chrome Soft for $100, $50 a dozen; the page showed no single-dozen price to hold it against (read 3 Nov).
- PXG: a fourth dozen Xtreme Tour free with three, plus a copy of Bob Parsons' book (read 3 Nov).
In 2025, Carl's Golfland sold Callaway Supersoft and REVA balls at two for $50 until 31 December; Callaway's own store had the Supersoft at $26.99 a dozen when we read it on 30 Oct.
For a slower swing, or a ball you lose often, our golf balls for beginners guide compares all 27 balls on layers, cover, compression and price.
