Choose the G430 if you want PING's forgiving hybrid for less, new while PING still has stock or used.
Choose the G440 if your longer clubs slice and you want the draw-biased 5, 6 or 7 hybrid.
G430 $257 · G440 $267, each with its shop and checked date
Both are PING hybrids in six lofts from 17° to 34°, with a carbon-wrapped crown, a hosel that moves loft 1.5° either way and an HL build for slower swings, and both score 4 of 5. The G440's 3- and 4-hybrids are a degree weaker (20° and 23° against 19° and 22°), its face is shallower and thinner, and PING sets a slight draw into its 5, 6 and 7 hybrids.
PING's tables give the G425 and G430 hybrids the same six lofts from 17° to 34°, the same lengths and lies and the same eight-position hosel, and both score 4 of 5.
