Choose the G440 MAX if you want to set the head for your miss and change it later, or need the lighter build.
Choose the Qi35 Max if you want TaylorMade's 10K head with nothing to adjust but the loft.
G440 MAX $447 · Qi35 Max $449.98, each with its shop and checked date
Each is the most forgiving head of its maker's range: both 460cc, both in 9°, 10.5° and 12° in either hand and from senior flex to extra stiff, and both score 4 of 5 here. TaylorMade puts the Qi35 Max at a 10K moment of inertia, with a 34-gram tungsten weight fixed at the back and no movable weight. PING prints no MOI figure for the G440 MAX; its 29-gram back weight can be set to draw, neutral or fade, and its hosel moves the loft 1.5° either way. PING also builds the G440 MAX in a lighter HL version for slower swings. The Qi35 Max is the older of the two: TaylorMade's Qi4D Max replaced it.
The most forgiving head in PING's main G440 range. Its 29-gram back weight can be set to draw, neutral or fade, so you can match it to today's miss and change it later.
TaylorMade's 2025 Max driver, which it calls the most forgiving of its Qi35 drivers: a 10K moment of inertia and a fixed 34-gram tungsten weight at the back, in 9°, 10.5° or 12°.

The G430 MAX 10K is built for stability above all: a fixed back weight set low and deep and PING's largest head shape took it past 10,000 g-cm² of combined MOI, and PING called it the straightest, most forgiving driver it had made.
Both are TaylorMade's 10K MOI head, 460cc, in 9°, 10.5° and 12° and both hands, and TaylorMade's charts rate each the most forgiving driver of its family, with a mid-high launch and mid spin; both score 4 of 5 here.
The Qi35 Max is the more forgiving: TaylorMade rated it highest for forgiveness of its Qi35 drivers and the Qi35 higher, and called the Max the most forgiving of the family at 10K MOI, from a fixed 34-gram tungsten weight at the back.
