What changed from the Elyte Max Fast
Both are Callaway's light driver for a moderate swing: 460cc, 45.75 inches, a 59° lie and 10.5° or 12° on a 40 g Mitsubishi Vanquish shaft in Callaway's R2 flex, in either hand. The Quantum Max Fast replaces the Elyte's carbon crown with a carbon chassis around the whole head, and its Ai 10x face with the Tri-Force face of titanium, Poly Mesh and carbon fibre.
Callaway still sells the Elyte Max Fast new, for less than the Quantum Max Fast; this page shows both prices. Choose it to pay less for the same light build; choose the Quantum Max Fast for Callaway's newest face.

What changed from the Paradym Ai Smoke MAX Fast
Both are Callaway's light 460cc driver for a moderate swing, 45.75 inches long, in 10.5° or 12° on a 40-gram shaft in Callaway's light R2 flex. The Ai Smoke MAX Fast has a fixed hosel, a 5-gram weight at the back, a draw bias on Callaway's chart and the Ai Smart Face, and Callaway made it right-handed only. The Quantum Max Fast adds an adjustable loft sleeve, comes in either hand, and has Callaway's Tri-Force face of titanium, polymer mesh and carbon fibre. The Elyte Max Fast came between them.
No shop we checked sells the Ai Smoke MAX Fast new, and used ones cost far less than a new Quantum Max Fast. Choose it for a light, draw-biased head for less if you play right-handed; choose the Quantum Max Fast to set the loft yourself, to play left-handed or for the newer face.

How the 3.0 adds up
The forgiveness score is our reading of what Callaway publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
| Part | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Head | 3 | A game improvement driver head, not the most forgiving kind Callaway makes. |
| Forgiveness score | 3.0 | of 5 |
Draw help, lofts, flex and hand don't change the score. They decide which version fits you, and the picks for a slice or a slow swing use them.
