Titleist TSi1 driver

Driver, 3.0 of 5 for forgiveness

Titleist's 2021 lightweight driver for swing speeds under 90 mph: a 460cc head almost 40 grams lighter than a standard driver, with the most draw bias of any Titleist driver then, in 9°, 10° or 12°. Titleist no longer sells the TSi1 new; the TSR1 followed it, and the GT1 is the newest model in its line.

Choose it if

  • You swing a driver under 90 mph and want a light driver with a draw bias.
  • You slice: the head has a draw bias built in.
  • You need a left-handed club or a senior flex: both were stock builds.

Choose something else if

  • For a left-handed 9° or 12°, choose another driver: the left-handed TSi1 came in 10° only.

What changed in the GT1

Titleist followed the TSi1 with the TSR1 in 2023 and the GT1 in 2025. Both are lightweight 460cc heads for moderate swing speeds, in 9°, 10° and 12° with a 59° lie. The TSi1 came left-handed in 10° only, on Aldila's Ascent shaft, with an ultra-thin titanium crown, a face in ATI 425 aerospace titanium and its weight set for the most draw bias of any Titleist driver then. The GT1 comes in every loft in either hand, with a polymer crown, a titanium ring around the face, the deepest centre of gravity of the GT drivers for a higher launch, one interchangeable back weight and three featured shafts. Titleist gives neither head a forgiveness class, so the TSi1 and the GT1 both score 3.0 here.

Titleist no longer sells the TSi1 and we found no shop selling it new, but used ones cost a fraction of a new GT1. Choose a used TSi1 for a light Titleist head with a draw bias for little money; choose the GT1 for a left-handed 9° or 12°, the back weight and the wider choice of shafts.

How the 3.0 adds up

The forgiveness score is our reading of what Titleist publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
