Head to head

TaylorMade SIM2 Max vs Stealth irons

Choose the Stealth for the slightly stronger lofts and the weight moved low for launch.

Choose the SIM2 Max if a used set in your hand, shaft and flex costs less.

TaylorMade built both on its Cap Back head, with the same lies and lengths and nearly the same lofts. The Stealth, a year newer, is half a degree to a degree stronger from the 4-iron to the pitching wedge (a 28° 7-iron against 28.5°), has a little less offset (4.1 mm at the 7-iron against 4.2 mm) and adds a toe wrap that moves weight from the toe into the sole for a higher launch; TaylorMade built the SIM2 Max's faces against the right miss. Both score 3 of 5 here. On these figures they play almost alike.
