Head to head

Callaway Paradym vs TaylorMade Stealth irons

Choose the Paradym if you strike it well and want a compact head with a forged face.

Choose the Stealth if you want more help on a mishit, especially if a slice is part of your miss.

These are two kinds of iron, and that decides it for most golfers weighing them. The Stealth is TaylorMade's game improvement iron of 2022: 4.1 mm of offset at the 7-iron, weight moved from the toe into the sole for launch, and a little draw bias in the long irons. The Paradym is Callaway's players distance iron of 2023: a compact hollow head with a forged face and 2.8 mm of offset, which Callaway's chart puts at handicaps of 4 to 12. The Stealth's lofts are stronger in the long irons (a 21° 5-iron against 23°) and a degree stronger at the 7-iron (28° against 29°); the two meet at a 37° 9-iron. The Stealth scores 3 of 5 here and the Paradym 2.
