Choose the TSR1 if your swing is under 90 mph or you want a 12° driver.
Choose the TSR2 if you swing faster and want the heavier, more stable head.
Both are 460cc Titleist heads with a face built up in layers, sold in either hand, and both score 3 of 5 here, because Titleist named a forgiveness class for neither. The TSR1 is the light one: built for driver swing speeds under 90 mph, about 40 grams lighter than the TSR2 in all (head, shaft and grip), with its centre of gravity deep and almost centred on the face for a higher launch, in 9°, 10° and 12°, at 45.75 inches. The TSR2 is the heavier head for faster swings, its centre of gravity moved lower and further forward, in 8°, 9°, 10° and 11°, at 45.5 inches, and Titleist sold it for players who make contact all over the face. Titleist sells neither now; both are bought used.
