What changed in the OPTM MAX-K
Both are 460cc heads in 9°, 10.5° and 12° with the same 33-setting hosel and a fixed weight low in the back, and Cobra calls each its most forgiving driver head of its year. The OPTM MAX-K's back weight is 11 grams (Cobra gives no weight for the DS-ADAPT MAX-K), and Cobra calls it its highest MOI ever; it publishes the DS-ADAPT MAX-K's as a combined 10,000.
Cobra still sells the DS-ADAPT MAX-K new for about half the OPTM MAX-K's price, but on 12 Oct only left-handed builds were in stock. It suits a golfer who wants Cobra's high-MOI head for little money; choose the OPTM MAX-K for a right-handed build new.
