What changed in the Qi4D Max
Both are 460cc in 9°, 10.5° and 12°, in both hands. The Qi4D Max adds two movable weights (13 and 4 grams) where the Qi10 Max has none, an aluminium collar and a new face curve, and a quarter inch more standard length (45.75 inches against 45.5); TaylorMade rates its launch high against the Qi10 Max's mid-high. TaylorMade sold the Qi10 Max on its 10K MOI and gives no MOI figure for the Qi4D Max.
PGA TOUR Superstore still sells the Qi10 Max new for well under the Qi4D Max's price. Choose the Qi10 Max for TaylorMade's high-MOI head for less; choose the Qi4D Max to tune the flight with its weights.

How the 4.0 adds up
The forgiveness score is our reading of what TaylorMade publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
| Part | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Head | 4 | A maximum-forgiveness driver head, the most forgiving kind TaylorMade made. |
| Forgiveness score | 4.0 | of 5 |
Draw help, lofts, flex and hand don't change the score. They decide which version fits you, and the picks for a slice or a slow swing use them.
