What changed in the GTS2
The GTS2 keeps the GT2's 460cc size, its 8°, 9°, 10° and 11° lofts in both hands, its lie and its 45.5-inch standard length. Titleist changes the face (the Speed Sync face, reinforced for a bigger sweet spot), makes the whole body a thermoformed frame, replaces the single back weight with two adjustable weights a fitter can use to place the centre of gravity, and raises the tail for less drag.
Titleist no longer sells the GT2, but shops still have it new for well under the GTS2's price, and used ones cost less again. Choose the GTS2 for the newer face and the two-weight fitting.

How the 4.0 adds up
The forgiveness score is our reading of what Titleist publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
| Part | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Head | 4 | A maximum-forgiveness driver head, the most forgiving kind Titleist made. |
| Forgiveness score | 4.0 | of 5 |
Draw help, lofts, flex and hand don't change the score. They decide which version fits you, and the picks for a slice or a slow swing use them.
