Titleist TSi2 driver
Maximum forgiveness, 4.0 of 5
Titleist's 2020 forgiving driver, sold for "maximum distance and forgiveness": a stable, high-MOI 460cc head with its weight set deep and low and a face in aerospace titanium, in 9°, 10° or 11°. Titleist no longer sells the TSi2 new; the TSR2 followed it, and the GTS2 is the newest model in its line.

What changed in the GTS2
Titleist followed the TSi2 with the TSR2 in 2022, the GT2 in 2024 and then the GTS2. The TSi2 and the GTS2 are both 460cc heads with a 58.5° lie; the TSi2 came in 9°, 10° and 11°, and the GTS2 adds an 8°. The TSi2 has a face in ATI 425 aerospace titanium, an ultra-thin titanium crown and its centre of gravity set deep and low, with no weight to move it; its one weight changes only the swing weight. The GTS2 pushes weight to the back for stability, reinforces the face for a bigger sweet spot and has two weights a fitter can move. Titleist sold the TSi2 for "maximum distance and forgiveness" with a high-MOI design, and calls the GTS2 the most stable head of its GTS range, so both score 4.0 here.
Titleist no longer sells the TSi2 and we found no shop selling it new, but used ones cost a fraction of a new GTS2. Choose a used TSi2 for a forgiving Titleist head for little money; choose the GTS2 for the reinforced face, the movable weights and the 8° loft.

How the 4.0 adds up
The forgiveness score is our reading of what Titleist publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
| Part | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Head | 4 | A maximum-forgiveness driver head, the most forgiving kind Titleist made. |
| Forgiveness score | 4.0 | of 5 |
Draw help, lofts, flex and hand don't change the score. They decide which version fits you, and the picks for a slice or a slow swing use them.
