Titleist T200 (2021) irons

Players distance, 2.0 of 5 for forgiveness

Titleist's players distance iron of 2021, which it called the tour's distance iron: a compact hollow body with a polymer core behind a forged face, dense tungsten in the long irons, the same small offset as the T100, and a 31° 7-iron. Titleist no longer sells the T200 (2021) new; the T200 (2023) replaced it, and the T250 replaced the T200 (2023).

  • You strike it well and want distance with a little help.
  • You want a higher flight: the 31° 7-iron is weaker than most.
  • You play left-handed: it was made left-handed.

Choose something else if

  • You need a senior flex: PING G740, senior (A) flex in stock, 5.0 of 5.
  • If you want more help on a mishit, choose Titleist's T350, its game improvement iron.

What changed in the T250

Titleist kept the 2021 T200's 4-iron, P and W lofts in today's T250 (22°, 43° and 48°), made the T250 a degree stronger in the 5- and 6-irons and half a degree from the 7-iron to the 9-iron (a 30.5° 7-iron against 31°), and added a 2- and a 3-iron. The 2021 T200 is a compact hollow body with a polymer core behind a forged face and the same offset as the T100. The T250, which followed the 2023 T200, is built all in steel, with a thicker topline and a wider sole than the T100 and T150, a forged face and split tungsten weighting. Titleist prints no offset or sole width for the 2021 T200 or the T250.

Used sets cost far less than a new T250; this page shows the used price. Choose the T200 for nearly the same lofts for much less, if a used set comes in your hand and flex; choose the T250 for a new set built in your hand, shaft and flex, with the wider sole Titleist gives it.

Head to head: Titleist T100 (2021) vs T200 (2021) irons

Loft, lie and length, club by club

As Titleist published them
Club Loft Lie Length
4-iron 22° 61.5° 38.5 in
5-iron 25° 62° 38 in
6-iron 28° 62.5° 37.5 in
7-iron 31° 63° 37 in
8-iron 35° 63.5° 36.5 in
9-iron 39° 64° 36 in
P 43° 64° 35.75 in
W 48° 64° 35.5 in

After the gap wedge (W, 48°): with a 56° sand wedge, the 8° gap leaves room for one more wedge, at about 52°.

Callaway's iron fitting guide puts your first wedge 4° to 6° above the highest-lofted wedge in your iron set. A gap in degrees is not a gap in yards. To choose that wedge, see the forgiving wedges by loft and bounce.

Use the iron finder to compare sets for your usual miss, and check the set makeup and loft gaps before ordering.

How the 2.0 adds up

The forgiveness score is our reading of what Titleist publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.

The parts of the forgiveness score
PartPointsWhy
Head class 2 Players distance: a compact head that forgives a little.
Offset +0 Titleist doesn't publish a 7-iron offset, so offset earns no point.
Sole +0 Titleist doesn't publish a sole width, so the sole earns no point.
Forgiveness score2.0of 5

The score rates the head only. Hand, flex and price decide which version you buy, not how forgiving it is. Titleist does not publish a 7-iron offset or a sole width.
