What changed in the OPTM X
Both are 45.50 inches long as standard. The LTDx, rated high for forgiveness on Cobra's 2022 chart (the LTDx MAX extreme), has a fixed 15-gram back weight behind Cobra's PWR-COR weighting low and forward, a 5200 MOI in Cobra's words, low spin and a medium launch, in 9°, 10.5° and 12° in either hand. The OPTM X has two adjustable weights (11 and 3 grams) for a neutral or fade-biased flight and a FutureFit33 hosel with 33 loft and lie settings, in 9° and 10.5° only.
Used LTDxs at 2nd Swing cost a fraction of a new OPTM X. Choose the LTDx for a 12° in either hand for the least money; choose the OPTM X for a new head and its fade setting.

How the 3.0 adds up
The forgiveness score is our reading of what Cobra publishes about the head, from 1 to 5. It is not a test result. How every score works.
| Part | Points | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Head | 3 | A game improvement driver head, not the most forgiving kind Cobra made. |
| Forgiveness score | 3.0 | of 5 |
Draw help, lofts, flex and hand don't change the score. They decide which version fits you, and the picks for a slice or a slow swing use them.
