Every used price we read, and what to check on the exact club before you pay, is in the used forgiving clubs guide.
Is it a real deal?
- Compare the same thing: a set price buys a set makeup (5-PW, or 5-PW and a gap wedge), a hand, a shaft and a flex. A cheaper set with one club fewer is not a lower price.
- Compare against a dated price: a "was" price on a shop's page is the shop's figure. The prices on this page are ones we read, each with its day.
- Check last year's model: the head that was the maker's most forgiving a year ago is often still on sale, new or used, for much less than its replacement.
- Check the return terms before you pay, above all for a used club or a sale that ends soon.
For Black Friday, the price to beat for the most forgiving club of each type is on its own page.
